Inspired by her own travels as a child, Alana Ippolito created the first ZigZag City Guide in 2011 as her graduate thesis project. She then turned to Kickstarter to bring the guides to life and fill the need for interactive and educational travel guides for kids. Today Alana's guides allow parents and kids to explore together and make learning fun whether traveling or at home. She lives in Northern California with her husband and two kids.
